Jeff Purdon

Senior Digital Marketing Strategist

I help organizations connect SEO, paid media, content, email, social, UX, analytics, and technical execution to measurable business outcomes.

My work is strongest in complex digital ecosystems: multi-brand websites, technical products, long sales cycles, ecommerce friction, shifting search behavior, and marketing programs that need both strategic direction and hands-on execution.

Quick Navigation

About Me

I’m Jeff Purdon, a digital marketing strategist based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I’m available for remote roles, as well as hybrid opportunities in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.

My experience sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. At my most recent employer, I helped build the web marketing function from a small team into a broader digital group supporting multiple brands, ecommerce properties, content channels, paid media, SEO, social, email, and user experience initiatives.

I tend to look at digital marketing as a system. Search visibility, paid media, content, email, social, UX, analytics, and conversion all affect one another. My value is in diagnosing where that system is losing effectiveness, identifying practical improvements, and working with the right people to turn those improvements into measurable outcomes.

My background in mathematics shaped how I approach marketing: define the problem clearly, look for patterns, test assumptions, and connect evidence to decisions. I also bring hands-on technical fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and PHP, which helps me collaborate credibly with developers, troubleshoot implementation issues, and understand how digital systems are actually built and maintained.

“Jeff consistently demonstrated initiative, technical ability, and a strong understanding of digital marketing strategy… His work consistently reflected an ability to connect business needs with effective technical solutions.”

What I Bring

Business-Driven Marketing

I connect marketing performance to revenue, lead quality, customer acquisition efficiency, and long-term business value. Traffic, rankings, clicks, and engagement matter, but only when they support a meaningful business outcome.

Strategy and Execution

I do not stop at recommendations. I have worked with executive leadership to define direction, then partnered with designers, developers, sales teams, accounting, technical experts, vendors, and content teams to turn strategy into executed work.

Full-Funnel, Cross-Channel Thinking

I treat SEO, paid media, email, social, content, UX, and analytics as connected parts of one system. The goal is not to optimize a channel in isolation. The goal is to understand how the pieces work together to create revenue, demand, trust, and customer action.

Adaptability Across Platforms

Search, social, paid media, ecommerce, and AI-assisted discovery keep changing. I pay attention to those shifts and adapt strategy accordingly, whether that means rethinking YouTube content for retention, improving ecommerce conversion signals, or preparing content for AI search visibility.
